For so many years, so many of my students have kept telling me that I should start a subscription-based website with online videos taught in my style.
I never got to that for many reasons, including
- Feeling intimidated by the amount of work and learning (cameras, lighting, etc… ).
- Too much on my plate and no time to even get this started.
- The fact I have an accent haha
- … and so on.
In the past couple of months, I had a couple of students again urging me they would LOVE to study more with me outside of lesson time through instructional videos, in addition to the in-person/skype lessons.
The client is always right. When that many people over that many years all voice this same request, maybe I need to learn from this.
So I bit the bullet.
It is finally going to happen.
I just bought the Canon M50, got myself diffused studio lighting, a tripod, and tons of accessories.
Am studying manuals and video editing like crazy.
My new video lessons site, is going to be GuitarVoyage.com
GuitarVoyage will be unlike any guitar learning site.
I checked out a vast amount of music teaching sites, none of them come close in video and lesson quality to what I’m working on.
Am hoping to get the site designed and up and running by the end of summer.
The top is a poplar burl. Gorgeous! This is my favorite guitar finish.
When I had my custom Suhr Modern built, there were very few guitars with this color combination. A couple of months after my Suhr was built, which has the transparent blue bleach finish you see on this guitar, suddenly guitars started popping up left and right with this finish.
My philosophy behind this finish was: ocean and land.

An unbelievably corny, silly dad-type of a joke, but I couldn’t help myself. Had to post it.
We’ll Never Know
Hit me up anytime at email@example.com if you have any questions, or if you would like to book a lesson.
These free lessons are cool, but you will never experience the progress, joy, and results that my students experience in lessons when you’re learning by yourself from blogs and videos.
That is why people take lessons: way better results and progress, much more complete information, exposed to way more creative ideas than you can get from a blog or YouTube video.
There is only so much that self-study can accomplish.
If you want to see amazing results and progress in your guitar playing, buy your first lesson here and get started ASAP.
You’ll impress your friends and loved ones in no time with your guitar playing!
