Practice In Expert Performance

A Study of Expert Practice

I wanted to do something a little different today.

In today’s blog, I’m sharing an excerpt from a study one of my students shared with me a couple of years ago.
That student felt compelled to share this study with me because of the enthusiasm that grew in him while reading it because the study was confirming things I had told him and tell all my students all the time.

It’s a psychology study of the art of practice for exceptional performance. It was published in 1993 by the American Psychologist Association.
If you’re looking to get more out of your practice time or get better results with lesser effort: this is a must-read.

These free lessons are cool, but you will never experience the progress, joy, and results that my students experience in lessons when you’re learning by yourself from blogs and videos.

That is why people take lessons: way better results and progress, much more complete information, exposed to way more creative ideas than you can get from a blog or YouTube video.
There is only so much that self-study can accomplish.

If you want to see amazing results and progress in your guitar playing, buy your first lesson here and get started ASAP.
