Or perhaps you simply want an experienced professional to look at what you are doing and tell you exactly what needs to change.
In many cases, ten focused minutes with the right teacher can save you hours—or even weeks—of frustration, confusion, and unfocused practice.
A 10-minute coaching session is perfect when you need help with something specific, such as:

This is not a prerecorded video, an automated response, or a generic answer pulled from the internet. You will meet with me personally (either in studio or over Zoom), and I will address your question based on your playing, your experience level, and your musical goals.
I have spent nearly 30 years teaching guitar one-on-one. During that time, I have learned that a seemingly small adjustment in technique, understanding, or approach can sometimes produce an enormous breakthrough. Very often, the problem is not a lack of effort—it is simply that the student has not yet received the right information.
Get Help Right When You Need It
One of the greatest advantages of these 10-minute coaching sessions is that you may be able to receive help almost immediately—the very moment you encounter the problem or question.
Most private lessons need to be scheduled days or even weeks in advance. But when you suddenly run into a difficult technique, a confusing theory concept, or a passage you cannot figure out, you usually want the answer while the question is still fresh in your mind—not sometime next week.
After purchasing your 10-minute session, simply email me right away and let me know when you would like to meet. If you want to meet immediately and I do not already have a student scheduled at that time, I may be able to make that happen. If I am teaching, I will offer you my next available time slot.
That means the problem interrupting your progress could potentially be solved within minutes—and, in many cases, within just a few hours. Instead of losing an entire day of practice searching online, experimenting with the wrong solutions, or repeatedly struggling with the same obstacle, you can get personalized help and continue moving forward.

Who Are These Sessions For?
These coaching sessions are open to guitarists of all experience levels, from complete beginners to advanced musicians.
You do not need to be one of my regular private students, and you do not need to be a GuitarVoyage member. You can book a session whenever you have a question or need quick, expert guidance.
These sessions are especially useful if:
- You have been stuck on the same problem for too long
- You are learning independently but occasionally need personal guidance
- You want a professional opinion before making an important musical decision
- You want to experience my teaching before committing to longer private lessons
- You simply want a fast, convenient, and affordable way to get personalized help
Your $25 Can Also Be Credited Toward a Lesson Package
If you enjoy your 10-minute session and decide that you would like to continue studying with me, the entire $25 cost of your session can be credited toward the purchase of a private-lesson package.
Students who upgrade to a 10-lesson full-hour package can also receive an additional $50 discount. Students who upgrade to a 20-lesson full-hour package can receive an additional $100 discount. These savings are in addition to the package discounts already offered.
For 30-minute lesson packages, the full $25 session credit still applies.
