Why is this approach so unique and effective?

  • 1) Tailored To How Your Mind Works.

    • Short, timed drills and mapped out practice routines = faster progress = more fun.
    • Traits that set me apart from other teachers:
      • 1. My interest and intense study in psychology and in the workings of the mind
      • 2. My application of those principles in improving my student’s results and learning experience.
    • I will give you short, well-defined drills to be practiced with a timer. (10-15 minutes max in length)
    • This will keep your concentration at peak performance: you will get more done and will retain more information with lesser effort at a much faster pace.
    • I am the only instructor in LA who does that.
    • Research has revealed that the brain works a certain way: “little chunks of information, regular intervals”.
    • Focusing on a concentration-intense task for more than 15 minutes at a time is unproductive because your ability to keep up the focus rapidly declines after 15 minutes. Your progress and growth declines accordingly after 15 minutes.
    • Subtly interwoven in the guitar lessons, you will also learn:
      • 1. How to resolve resistance
      • 2. How to rid yourself of disempowering beliefs
      • 3. How to be the best you can be and fulfill your fullest potential in no time.
    • I Understand You.
      • 1. I am exceptionally well trained in understanding and intuitively feeling what is going on in the person I am working with.
      • 2. The teacher always adapts to the student, never the other way around.
      • 3. It is never your “fault” when you don’t get something… it is the teacher’s.
      • 4. It’s ok to be nervous in your lesson. Guess what? I always was too. So were my teachers when they were students. Believe this or not: so were your idols and favorite guitar players in their lessons.
      • 5. By the nature that you are out of your comfort zone during a guitar lesson: you will learn as much about yourself as you will about guitar.
  • 2) A Logically Structured Approach to Guitar.

    • My guitar approach guarantees maximum efficiency and progress:
      • 1. None of your lesson time gets used upme writing down lesson material. This is a complaint I hear often from students: my previous teacher spent a lot of time writing. I have printable lesson materials covering everything there is to know about guitar & music.
      • 2. A highly structured, yet customizable teaching plan. The teaching plan is totally customizable to your level and goals. Whether you are a complete beginner who does not know how to hold a guitar or you’re an advanced guitarist whose been playing forever, you will improve more quickly than you had hoped for.
    • The Results:
      • I started developing my own approach to learning guitar while I was a student in music school. At that age I got impatient, and felt that maybe I could find ways to progress more quickly than I did.
      • After all: everything can always improve, even the proven systems of top-level music schools, right?
      • From the moment I came up with my own system, my teachers ‹who were bound by the school’s curriculum‹ noticed my accelerated progress (progressing faster than all their other students), and attributed this to what they described as “extra special talent and abilities”.
      • Apparently, my system was working. I use the same tested principles with my own students.
  • 3) Passion and Drive

    • I am not a performer who also happens to teach:
      • 1. I am a pro guitar teacher who also happens to perform.
      • 2. I am known for my passion for teaching and for my positive energy.
      • 3. I am also known for my drive in constantly providing an enjoyable, fun and rewarding educational experience.
    • Enthusiasm and Inspiring Nature
    • I have been teaching for many years. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing a student leave my teaching studio with a happy smile.
It’s very energizing and that is what keeps me going.
